Highly flawed, but still pretty fun to read. Quite comprehensible. (As always, a hat tip to the good people at Elizabethan Drama for making excellent annotated PDF's available for free.)
I'd like to see this play performed someday. I expect it would be entertaining. But I'd especially like to see the part where troops travel from Mexico to Africa and France to India between one page and the next. Quite a trick!
NB--the story has only a passing resemblance to the Italian epic poem of the same name.
